Yakubu looked out of his window and noticed a young slender
shaped lady, she couldn’t be more than 21 her thought. From his 2nd floor hotel room in
the former Execelsor hotel in Apapa, Yakubu always enjoyed the view in the
evenings when he had finished his round of meetings for the day.
He had come to Lagos to secure a very important business
deal with Flour Mills PLC for his company and had been in Apapa for the past 1
week.
As he was looking at her, he wondered who she was – there was
something different about this particular girl, as is she noticed, she suddenly
stopped and looked up at him and smiled, she stood there for a few seconds,
Yakubu froze, his heart started beating faster, he was confused, damn! She was
breathtakingly beautiful.
And as a car blarred its horn nearby, the moment passed, she
turned her head and kept walking further away from him.
He had one thought, and one thought only, Who is she?.....then
more thought started coming, why did she smile at him? How did she know he was
looking from that height? Should he go after her?, he was wearing just his
boxers and noticed a little bulge developing down there. Why did she have this
kind of effect on him?
Yakubu had been away from home for a while, his girlfriend
had left him a month ago and he quickly jumped on the opportunity when his Boss
asked to leave Kano for a while.
He looked at his wrist watch, it was just 4.30pm. He could
quickly rush downstairs and with some luck, he could catch up with her – yes that
would be a confirmation that she was the one. She certainly was the most
beautiful woman he seen and it would be nice to know her well not like Abraham
knew his wife
but then he suddenly realized he had not moved an inch,
he was still seating on the hotel room chair and smiling sheepishly.
He stood up, looked out the window again, unconsciously searching
for her and went back to his chair.
